There is a little sting to it, but with our low-impact .50 caliber paintballs, it’s not bad at all. It also helps to layer up if you are very sensitive. Think of a good snap with a rubber band. On bare flesh, it will sting. Through a sweatshirt, it’s nearly nothing!

We start people out at ages six with GellyBall. You can play low-impact paintball starting at seven and medium-impact paintball starting at age nine.
Long pants and long sleeve shirts that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Paintballs really don’t have paint in them, and it will wash out, but full coverage is a great idea.
We can only allow our paintballs at our facility. Do not bring outside paintballs to our field.
Extremely! Statistics have shown that football, soccer, baseball – even bowling is less safe than paintball. Just follow the safety rules, keep your mask on when in shooting zones, and you will be fine!
The sport of paintball can be very intimidating to a first-time player. The fear of facing experienced players armed with expensive custom equipment can be a bit much for a new player. You won’t have to worry about this when you book your group or party at BASICS Paintball. Players will be using similar equipment to one another and will be matched with other players of similar skill level. Groups can even choose to play private for an additional fee.
Yes, you can bring in drinks but not alcoholic beverages.
Sure! You are free to bring in your own food. You can also order in food from one of the many local restaurants and pizza places nearby.
We’re okay with any reason you want to cancel. You never have to worry when you book at Basics Paintball, we know that life happens. If you need to cancel instead of rescheduling, you will get a 100% refund for your event.

Yes, everyone throwing or watching is required to sign a waiver and present a valid form of ID. All minors are required to have a parent or legal guardian complete their waiver and have an adult be present at check-in.
